Honouring the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. In Their Honour is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving their legacy through meaningful tributes and fundraising efforts.
In Their Honour Foundation is a non-profit organization that was created in honour of our son, Constable Brett Ryan, who was tragically killed in the line of duty on March 16, 2023. Brett devoted his life to serving others - beginning as a paramedic, then a firefighter, and ultimately a police officer with the Edmonton Police Service. He embodied everything a first responder stands for: compassion, selflessness, and an unwavering commitment to protecting and serving others.
The unbearable heartbreak of losing Brett is a pain no family should ever have to endure. From that grief came a powerful resolve to carry his legacy forward. It is our mission to honor Brett's memory by recognizing all fallen first responders, supporting those who continue to serve, and helping their families find strength, connection, compassion, and healing.
