Grand Opening of Heavy Metal Place!

Join us Saturday, May 10, for the official opening of Heavy Metal Place at 50 Westwind Drive, Spruce Grove! The ribbon cutting ceremony starts at 2 p.m., followed by free public skating (bring your skates and helmet), live entertainment, facility tours, games, and treats.

Heavy Metal Place is the largest project ever undertaken by the City of Spruce Grove. This vibrant new facility will feature a branch of the Spruce Grove Public Library, an arts space for the Spruce Grove Allied Arts Council, a black box theatre, two arenas—including the future home of the Spruce Grove Saints hockey team—a walking track, a program room, and the Spruce Grove Transit Centre.

This exciting project was made possible thanks to the support of the Government of Alberta, Parkland County, and many community partners.
