Legacy Place Society
Supporting mental wellness through connection and care
We are proud to support Legacy Place Society, an organization dedicated to addressing the unique mental health challenges faced by first responders, veterans, and military members. Legacy Place provides access to peer support, mental health programming, and transitional housing in a community that understands the realities of service.
Their work helps individuals navigate the impacts of trauma, reduce isolation, and build resilience—ensuring that those who have spent their lives helping others receive the care and understanding they deserve.
Valour Place
Comfort, care, and community during life’s toughest moments
Our foundation also supports Valour Place, which offers a welcoming home away from home for military members, veterans, RCMP, and first responders and their families.
Located in Edmonton, Valour Place provides accommodations and compassionate support for individuals traveling to the city for medical treatment. By easing the financial and emotional burden during difficult times, they allow families to focus on what matters most—healing and recovery.
Occupational Stress Intervention Dog (OSID)
Support you can feel—when words aren’t enough
We are currently fundraising to support an Occupational Stress Intervention Dog (OSID), a highly trained service dog specifically matched to support first responders and military members.
These dogs are trained to recognize signs of stress, anxiety, and trauma, providing immediate grounding, comfort, and emotional regulation. Beyond their direct support, OSIDs play a powerful role in breaking down mental health stigma—encouraging conversations and helping individuals seek the support they need.
This initiative reflects our commitment not only to honour those we have lost, but to actively protect and support those still serving.
